I just had to respond to this b/c I remember these sort of questions too. I used to respond "yes he's a good baby, he hasn't robbed any banks or been in trouble with the law".
You might want to head off these moms (if you dare..he he) by saying, "oh my I'm so sorry, your baby sleeps thru the night....that's ashame since babies who sleep thru are at a greater risk for SIDS". Or, "oh your baby goes 4 hours between feedings, poor thing, you better be careful about childhood obesity, formula feeding has been associated with obesity, I imagine getting overly full at one feeding might teach them to expect overfullness all the time"
How bout, "your baby doesn't want to be held alot...my my...I hope he doesn't have an attachment disorder". OR, "you know lots of babies have needed treatment b/c the backs of their heads grow flat b/c of being in infant seats, swings, or on their back in a crib so much instead of in mom's arms."
OR, "you have to get up and go to the kitchen and nursery at night to feed your baby......oh poor thing....I just roll over in my nice warm bed...hardly wake up to feed my baby, I feel sooo well rested."
You get my drift I'm sure!!! Might as well have some fun with the ignorant idiots. (oh gosh, I'm soooo bad, it's probably b/c I was formula fed!!)
