DH and I are hoping to move to Prince George in a couple of months. We currently live in the Lower Mainland and sadly, like most younger couples, there is no way in heck we could ever afford to buy a house here. Last fall I started looking at house prices outside of the Lower Mainland and was pleasantly surprised to find how reasonable housing still is in Prince George. We really do not want to leave BC so PG sounded like a great idea. We are reasonably sure DH will get a job, just wanted to hear what some locals had to say about the place. Any neighbourhoods to avoid, fun things to do, that sort of thing. :)
