I have a Britax Blvd that is about 6 months old. I am using it RF with my 15 month old. My DD has grown a lot but the head rest won't move up! It will move down but it won't go up. I'm pretty sure it couldn't be at the maximum height because there is a lot of car seat above the head rest at its current height. My daugter is at the point where her shouders are starting to be in the headrest and I am desperate to move it up! I have taken the seat out of the car, turned it upside down, loosened the straps all the way, tried turning both knobs at once, and both knobs separately, and nothing works. I have two other BLVDs and neither one has this problem. Has anyone ever experienced this? Any suggestions?

have you tried pushing up on the headrest while you turn? i'd call britax with seat right next to you so you try all the tips from them right there while they wait on the phone with you. if there is a problem i'm sure they'll replace it.

Thanks, well tomorrow is supposed to be warm, so I guess I can go sit in the car while I call them! lol!

Yeah, I tried pushing on it. I can not figure out what is wrong with it!

I've got BLVDs and the head rest goes above the top of the seat when all the way up, definitely sounds like something isn't right with yours. Good Luck!

You have to pull the harness out as far as you go...on the side it will tell you, that you must have slack in the harness for it to move up to the next level. That's what I do with mine hth!
