For ease of access for my older kids I have to have one of the twins on the driver's side 3rd row. (It's also the position in that row that has a top tether anchor.) It's not really a full size seat back there, would either of these fit properly?

I had our Nautilus in the 3rd row of our Suburban when my sister came to visit, and it fit great back there.

Or maybe a Regent? It doesn't have to go in the 3rd row but I'd like to have the option.

The girls are currently riding in FPSVDs and have plenty of growing room height wise. (I just moved Averill up to the highest harness slot, Lydia is still on the 2nd from the top.) But with the sale prices/coupon codes on diapers.com I could get a smokin' deal on any one of these seats that I don't technically *need*. It's good to have a spare around though, right?? I would probably install the new seat and put one of the FPSVDs in storage. I suppose I could wait until tax return time so I don't have to put it on a cc. Is that sale season again? I don't know what to do...

I actually have a Regent too, but I have never installed it in the third row.  I don't think the seat would be deep enough.  I have been happy with the Regent, (I bought it before the Frontier was an option).  Both my kids outgrew their Marathons at the same time but DD is very petite and DS not so much so I opted for the Regent for him.  One thing though since you are used to the FPSVDs that are like the Marathons that I would mention is the straps on the Regent twist more than the Marathons did.

GL deciding,

Cammie

We have both seat for ds, he just turned 5. The 3rd row was his spot, however for the life of me I can not get the frontier in solid. So he got moved to the middle row. I love both carseats and dont regret either one. But for the 3rd row I can get the nautilus in and not the frontier.
