Car Seats

My daughter is only 3 years old, but she is 40 pounds. We have her in an Alpha Omega 3-in-1 carseat, but obviously being only 3 she isn't ready for a belt-positioning booster setup quite yet. She is about 2 inches away from being too tall for her current carseat, as well.

We don't have a whole lot to spend, as we have another baby coming in March and will have to get  him/her a carseat as well.. so I am looking in the $200 and under price range (canadian funds). What should I be looking for? I am lost!

You are quite right that the 3-in-1 isn't going to work for your daughter right now. It should be a good RF seat for the new baby in a bit though.

I'd look at getting a Graco Nautilus. It harnesses to 65 pounds, then becomes a highback booster, then a backless booster. It should be the last seat she needs, and you should be able to find it in your price range, even in Canada.
