Any ideas on where to put a RF tether in a 2009 honda pilot?

I just installed my daughter's marathon, in the passenger side 2nd row seat. She's 14 mo. old, on the verge of outgrowing her snugride, so I bit the bullet and switched her to her big girl seat. She's 20 lbs and carries all her length in her legs, so her shoulders are just now even with the bottom slots on the marathon.

Anyway--I cannot for the life of me find a spot to tether the marathon RF. When my DS was RFing (he's 4 and FF now), I had a Ford Taurus and I just popped the plastic cover off the base of the front seat and tethered to the bolt at the base. But, we now have a new car. The plastic will not pop off the base of the front seats. The seatbelts connect to the seat itself, so there is nothing on the floor from them. Under the front seat, there is nothing- just a heat vent and the plastic covered seat bases. On the 2nd row seat itself, there is a metal bar that you pull to slide the seat forwards and back-- but that is not a fixed point.
The bar that the front seat slides on is metal, but raised up off the floor-- would that be an OK spot? But, then it would interfere with being able to adjust the front seat position- doesn't seem like a good idea...

I did get a very solid install (used latch)- its not moving at all side to side at the belt path, so I suppose its fine not to tether- but thought I'd ask if any of you had any brilliant ideas before I decide its just not possible.
TIA,
Sarah

bumping up- anyone have any ideas?

I looked at the metal bar that the front seat slides on- but the way it is shaped, the first couple inches are attached to the plastic, so to attach to the metal means losing several inches of adjustability on the front seat- not great for taller passengers...

Anywhere else you can think of ?
