So far, so good. Just a couple of questions. Is it ok for it to touch the back of the front seat? I have it outboard behind the passenger seat. The seat is pretty far up but it still touches it. Is there a way to install the seat so its less reclined? It will be fine for DD now but when she gets older I'm sure she will want to sit more upright. I didn't have any trouble installing it with the LATCH. It took some muscle to get a tight fit, but not too bad. We have a 2007 Honda CR-V. I can't find a place for the tether, though. The seat track is too wide and the tether strap isn't long enough to wrap around it. I love the low profile...its easy to get her in and out. Here are some pics. DD is a big girl...almost 8 months, approx 20 lbs and 28 inches.

Hi Laurie!  :-)

The Radian is allowed to touch the back of the front seat as long as the vehicle manual doesn't prohibit it.  Some newer vehicles have advanced airbags, and due to the sensors in the seats, car seats are not allowed to touch.

As for where to tether to, I don't know that vehicle specifically.  You could post pics of the underside of the front passenger seat so we can try to find something.  You could also ask on that other board I told you about on Facebook.  ;-)

The Radian is typically very reclined, and often there isn't much you can do about it because of that darn rear-facing foot.  You can try pushing down as hard as you can where her feet would be while installing to get it more upright, but usually it won't sit as upright as other convertible seats.

She looks happy and comfy in her new seat!

Thank you for my beautiful siggy, Holly!
