Bricen had his preschool service testing this week and it was terrible!!! My normally mild manner grandson was totally unhinged. It's too much to post here, so please read my blog (link in siggie) and give me any input. Thanks!!!

I had to smile reading the blog entry about his evaluation....He may just be smarter than the rest of us!! You see, if he tantrums like that and shows some non-typical behavior, maybe he can qualify for more services!! He was just trying to help out ;)

Glad you both survived it!! That stuffy, small room would have made me sick!!

Garrett, 4 years old, mild congenital myopathy, possibly MITO so hypotonia, g-tube from December 06-Fall 07, constipation, gross motor and speech delay, heart PDA repaired by hearth cath. Winter 08. OT once monthly, PT two times weekly, Speech 3 times weekly, water therapy weekly and as many horseback rides as we can fit in at home! Addie, 8 years old, mild congenital myopathy, possibly MITO. Ainslee, 6, just about too normal some days, but really patient with all of her siblings' therapies!! Oh, CONSTIPATION...how can one forget that??? Photobucket 2009 CO Garrett in Hay July 09

Well I have a typical 3 year old (I think he's a couple of months older than Bricen) and he would have acted in exactly the same way.  Last time we saw the Health Visitor all the toys in the waiting room had gone because of the H1N1 outbreak.  She still had toys in her office because she can keep a close eye on what toys the children put in their mouths.  Jeremiah picked up a toy train, gave her a "clearly you can't keep track of your toys" look and said "Jememiah take this one home".  I burst out laughing but she didn't see the funny side.  Hope Bricen gets the services he needs.  Jeremiah has his going to school check soon.
