hey all, i hope some of you can shed a light for me, i have been ttc for a year now (see my journy below) and i started my second round of clomid on july 21 and went to the dr  on cd 14 and he said that he saw one follicle, i did get a positive opk on cd 17, 18 and 19 i started feeling pains in my lower right abdominal and took a preg test on cd 300 and it was a digital and it said yes.......so my question is....both pregnancys before i have sorry boobs but this time i they arn't sore at all...and i have read that if you are on the atkins diet (which i have been for 8 weeks) that you can get a false positive on the pregnancy test....im just wondering if anyone else has heard this the only other sympton i have is nausea but no throwing up.....PLEASE HELP i go to the dr tomorrow and hopefully he will confirm a true pregnancy
 
July 20 2008 --------------------BFP (pregnant on own)
Aug 14 2008-------------- Miscarried b/c blighted ovum
March 30 2009 -------------------BFP (pregnant on own)
                    May 1 2009 --------------------D&C (baby had a h/b but died at 8 weeks, had a mass growing with the baby that smothered it...then mass went away, still don't know what the mass was)
July 21st ---------------------------first round of clomid 50mg --no ovulation
August 1st -------------------Second round of clomid 100mg --with ovulation

Hi.

Atkins, or any other high protein/low carb diet, causes ketosis or protein in your urine.  The diet does not affect the outcome of your preg test as it detects (hcg) in your urine so CONGRATULATIONS!!!
