Clomid/Ovulation Induction

Hi Marie!

How are ya?  I've had a busy weekend being our Thanksgiving... I love this time of year!  So today is actually Thanksgiving Monday so it is a holiday.. lovely!

I will gladly take a glass of sparkling cider!  In fact, I should pick some up... When you are TTC or better yet pg, it is hard to socialize and not partake if you know what I mean!  It was my 1st anniversary this w/e too!  DH and I stayed in a beautiful hotel that is like old world style?  Fireplace in the bedroom, jacuzzi tub... gorgeous!  We had to bd b/c it was day 14 of my cycle and you know how technical that can be...With the propping up and preseed..not overly romantic!   Oh well!  I would love it if we conceived there...on our first anni...  Anyway, I had one glass of wine at dinner which I don't think is too bad?  do you?  and a couple of sips of champagne...  Trust me it could have been a lot worse!!!  We were in wine country and I would have a lot more wine which I love! 

So anyway, had a really nice weekend...How are you doing?  When is af due?  Although she IS NOT going to come this time!!   How have you been feeling?  Oh I"m so excited to hear about any possible news!!!   I don't know about you but I love this time of year..It is fall here and I LOVE fall!  I think a better chance to conceive for me b/c our summers are so hot and sticky I can't stand it!  Where do you live?  What is the weather like for you right now?

Well...my coffee is ready and I am ready for it!  Hmmmm...coffee isn't really good either when TTC are you drinking it?  if so how much?  I've cut down anyway..Right now it is necessary!

How are you? Wonderful news about your trip, hope you get BFP.

As for me I just came back from a week in Miami with DH. We went to South Beach for his Bday.  I am native to NY and I just got back. I made it my biz to just chill out so I havent been on the boards all vaca.

Yeah, that ugly hag showed up today....boo to her. At least she let me swim all week at the beach. we also had a beautiful oceanfront room. loved it. I was in the 2WW but i still had me a mojito here and there. just one at a time, i didnt Over do it.  Little champagne cant hurt, just in moderation (i guess).

I took a test and got BFN (boo to AF) dissapointed but not discouraged. Im actually smiling as I type to you. I feel good, I just got back from my love fest with DH and Im happy to hear you were doing the same thing at about the same time.

Hi Marie!

How's it going?  I've had a busy week and haven't been on this site...Thanks for your note, ya I got over my one glass of wine pretty quick..no big deal..so yes,  I guess we were both having a good time ; ) wink wink... Although my DH is a big suck when it is baby-making time saying that he feels it is like "work".  Puleezzeee!!  What we go through is so much more!!  men.. oh well.

Soooooooooooo...  I was feeling all positive... like all motherly over my two big eggs and yesterday I started spotting...today it is getting heavier so I guess AF is on her way... UG!  What a downer.. I thought that everything was going so well...

I'm hoping for a bfp for both of us next time!  Have you started cycle 2?  I have a day off on Monday and it looks like it will be filled with dr appts...  booooooooooo! 

Alright...must get back on positive train...  it WILL happen for us this month!

Hey Lisa,

Im finished with AF but now I have to get HSG tomorrow. And to think...this was my idea...now I wish I could cancel, but i wont, i HAVE to know that my tubes are clear, I dont wanna wait 6 months or a year to find out like they say in Docs office.

On a happier note, I was doing some research on Lunar Conception and came up with some interesting stuff. I even created my own "moon ovulation" chart. the Dr. Eugene Jonas method is supposed to be 98% effective at gender prediction and conception rates.

I decided Im going to take a break off the clomid- I only did one cycle but I dont think I need it.

I realized that I read too much and thats what had me all agressive-TTC but now Im just going to take it easy and try the natural way. Doc already ruled out hormonal or other issues so just getting HSG to make sure the way is clear and then im going to do the moon thing.

let me know if youre interested in doing the moon cycle thing with me. for all my research it seems to work. there i go, reading again....no wonder why my ob/gyn said reading is dangerous,,it puts all this stuff in your head.

anyway, wish me luck on HSG. im still not ruling you out for BFP just yet..(.little spotting or AF) until the PT does not show second line a few days after due AF spots or not. my mom said she had her normal heavy AF all four of her pregnancies for at least the first 3 or 4 months.

Hey Lisa,

How are you doing today? Any good news?

I had my HSG today. OMG it hurt. it was very painful cramping. the procedure didnt last long but it hurt like hell. I havent really had much spotting but im still cramping these few hours later.

Well, there goes that, will find out in few days from Doc if everything ok but the xray tech said all looked well. will know for sure soon. keep you posted. you seem to be the oasis in my ttc ocean. i know we are both not always online but i know i can count on you for  a response in time. thanx, Lisa for all your encouragement and support. trust and know that you have mine too.
