Hi. I'm new here and have a 4 month old daughter with a left club foot. She has had serial castings since she was one week old, and her foot looks so much better! :) The Dr. says that her heel cord is still tight and doesn't seem to be stretching out much anymore. He wants to cut it as soon as possible. Can anyone tell me what to expect? He says that it will only take about an hour and it is an outpatient procedure. My biggest concern is that the anesthesiologist may not let her eat after midnight. Does anyone know if they can't eat after midnight even if the baby is only breastfeeding? I can't imagine not being able to feed her. She wakes up to eat around 4, 6 and 8!!! Any advice us greatly welcomed! Thank you all.
