Meaning, I finally got going on the gifts for real.

Yesterday I found a really cute and sturdy sewing basket, the rough size of a brown paper lunch bag but with a carrying handle, pink with spring green trims. At half price, 10$. I want to stuff it with scissors, yarn, a cross stitch kit I already have in my gift box, knitting supplies, buttons etc. for Astrid who is 8 and into crafts. She also follows me around the kitchen and begs to learn how to cook. Basically she is into life skills I think :)

Other ideas of what to add to the basket? A themed candy would be what? Cool? Hard to find? Any suggestions are appreciated LOL

I have a 7 yo dd that would love that basket of crafts! Great idea, I may have to borrow it! :) If she is into cooking, how about her own plastic set of measuring cups and small recipe book. I am sure Astrid is going to love her gift!
