I posted a while back asking for homemade gift ideas for the men in our family, and got some great responses. I was out shopping this week and found a wild game cookbook and was thinking it would be a perfect gift for my Dad. However, the $35 price tag doesn't fit itno our budget this year. I went home and got to thinking that I can actually make him one, and can make it even more personal by adding photos from his past hunting/fishing trips. I am really excited to start on this project!
That sounds like a great idea!!! Way to go o coming up with a way to do what you wanted for a fraction of the cost and it's even better then the retail one!
That's a really wonderful gift idea!! Can I ask where you saw the wild game cookbook? My dad and brother hunt, and my cooks everything! That would be a great gift. I like the idea of making your own, I just don't have access to personal stuff like pictures right now.
