I take DD to gymnastics, the park etc and I am getting tired of looking at not only teenagers but also Moms who display their thongs above the pant line and show a little butt-crack.

Is this a fashionable thing to now, that is, wear your thong so that it shows above your pants?

And what's with the peek-a-boo crack? I don't like it on men and I don't like it on women.

Am I over-reacting? Is showing your thong the same a visible bra strap? Is it acceptable?

It does seem to be the 'in' thing but it's highly unattractive. I don't like it when women show off a lot of their body though. Even though I'm sure there are quite a few respectable women/girls who I feel should cover up more it seems sluttish to me. Showing off your g-string and crack means you need to put on more clothing. 'Hip huggers' may be fashionable but I have to wonder if these girls/women ever notice that they're showing off half their behind when they bend over.. Or maybe thats the point.
