We chose 100% cotton next to baby, so I have never tried BG regular, FB, etc.

Green Mountain Cloth Ezee prefolds 5. They quilt up nicely and soft. They absorb extremely well. Great prefold.

Thirsties Cover (not one-size although I will definitely try that when I need to buy another cover) 5 - holds everything - yay double gusset! Sopping wet prefold, no problem. Poo will stay inside. They are easy to use - I have heard they work with a tri-fold, but I use the butterfly fold and a snappy. This cover is made large enough to easily cover the full prefold around the legs without having to tuck. The inside is exposed PUL, so it can wipe clean and is thin (thin=trim as a prefold and cover can be)

Bummis Whisper Wraps 2 - inside is covered with fabric. Must change it when the diaper gets very wet. Poo stains the inside. The fit is too tight on DDs legs and the PUL feels too thick. They are super cute, but I only use these as a last resort. The cover doesn't have the full coverage that Thirsties has, so there is some prefold tucking at the end.

Disana Wool Soaker 5 - so soft and never leaks. DD wears it every night and during the day when I can dress her in cloths that will fit a bulky wool soaker. I was shocked to learn that I love wool - expected to think it is too much of a pain or just too old school or something. The only downfall is the spot cleaning of poo, which only happens to us occasionally with a prefold. My favorite is using a great fitted diaper under this cover. No leaks from the diaper, breathability from the wool, softness against her skin, and soft wooly bum outer. Only one thing I wish were different with this cover is that the leg extensions are sewn on, hence a seam that won't stretch as much as the rest of the cover when you should be going up to the next size, but keep using the too small cover (you know this happens!).

Aristocrats Soaker and Soaker Longies 4 - All knitted, so you don't have the seam issue I just wrote about. Never leaks, but is not as soft as the Disana, so it is my second choice.

Imse Vimse Wool cover 2 - Scratchy wool, huge velcro sides that always startle DD, stiff wool. It hasn't leaked, but I only used it a few times when waiting for the soaker to dry (at least 24 hours). Since then, I have bought 2 more soakers. I do not plan to ever use this wrap again.

Snappies 5 - great invention! One time, DD even grabbed the pokey side and it didn't hurt her one bit.

Snug-to-fit one size 100% cotton fitted diaper 4.5 - In my opinion, this CD is for night only. It is too wide between the legs and thick for active times, but has so much cotton for night time! It grows with baby - love that. It is sooo soft, too. The velcro takes a little extra time if it is snapped down on it's smaller settings - you need to fix the fold so it will lay correctly. My favorite night diaper to use with a wool soaker because it refuses to leak anything and can hold so much!

Green Mountain Cloth-Ezee fitted cloth diaper, no aplix 3 - We bought the no closure kind and used a snappy. Quicker than a prefold and fits easier under all covers. The elastic keeps contents inside. The elastic at the back seems a bit bulky, maybe even the slightest bit crunchyish. I like it, but don't love it. I won't buy another and I will not be trying the aplix ones.

BumGenius AIO Organic Cotton One Size 4 - Love the snaps! Great fit, cute colors, elasticized tabs, and a great trim fit. So trim, I am shocked it is one size! We are on the smallest setting and it is great, but requires an extra moment to set-up the layered sewn in soaker, no biggie. The downfall is that the cotton isn't sewn into the tabs, hence leaving an area that it is easier for pee to escape (and it sometimes does). Tons of cycles to get this diaper ready to use and after over 15 cycles the cotton still isn't as thirsty as it could/should be. I want it to be a 5, but the sad truth is that it just isn't as dependable as SposoEasys (I will review these next). Being a one-size diaper certainly balances out the price of this diaper.

SposoEasy 100% cotton AIO 5+++ - My favorite diaper by far! It is dependable - so VERY dependable! Sucks up liquid in an instant and nothing escapes. It is amazing how much it can hold... every inch of this diaper can be wet, including the tab inner cotton, and still not one leak ever! They are expensive and are not one size (that is why I wanted to love the BG Organic more than this... oh well), but if I look away when I press the final payment button maybe I can forget that and just enjoy the (in my opinion) best cloth diaper available. It is just as wonderful at night, however I prefer wool at night for breathability. I have the aplix version and find it a bit of a pain to do and undo the special laundering tab tuck they designed (but it keeps all aplix off the baby - no chance of scratching and never mucks up the aplix in the laundry) and I cut the pointy corners at the bottom of the receiving end (middle panel), because I found they sometimes poked DDs chubby thighs... the leg openings could fit her better if they were a bit larger, but they are still fine and this is absolutely my favorite pick! I just ordered a snap version in unbleached cotton to see if we like either of those options better... we'll see.

I think that is it for my reviews - hope it helps someone out there!
