we cd part time and im having problems with my hugga buns used them with my first daughter fr about 4 months or so but she peed out of everything but sposies with one pee. any way im using them again with my second but im having trouble with her clothing getting wet down the back sorta in the middle section. are my diapers just not water proof any more or am i doing something wrong they have a hemp insert. and her clothes are getting damp with one pee. I cant have all my furniture smelling like pee all the time. do i just need new diapers if so i cant believe these things dident last more than 4 months they turn out to be more expensive than sposies. any suggestions iv tried drying them in the dryer already im thinking of getting a couple G diapers to try with the hymp insert or microfber do they let dampness through like the hugga buns are doing i need something trim like a sposie

I've never used these, so I don't have any real ideas! Is it leaking through the PUL or out at the waist? No decent pocket should leak through the PUL. If it's leaking out the waist, does it have something to do with the design of the pocket? Can the insert wiggle out so that it touches clothes and wicks out?

I looked these up on huggabuns.com and I couldn't find a picture of the design of the diaper, but there is information there to contact the people who make them. I suggest that first!

Another random idea that may or may not help: hemp holds a ton of liquid, but it's really slow to absorb. So if your baby is a fast pee-er then a thin layer of microfiber over the hemp might help suck up the gush. Something really small like the BG newborn insert might do the trick http://www.abbyslane.com/catalog.php?category=794 I love hemp, and it's the trimmest thing I've got!

It appears to be wicking trough the pul. they wernt cheep diapers i think i paid 12 a piece for them and have hemp inserts. I tried to contact the company but they apear to have changed owners and there web site says its being moved so i guess currently there is no real way to contact them. I Got a G diaper start kit last night and were giving that a try with the hemp inserts out of my hugga buns. the seem to be doing better at least her clothes arnt getting wet or dont seem to be. But im going to need more cloth inserts of some sort id love to make my own but im not shure where i can get hemp fabric at cheep enough for me to afford. would it be more trim and absorbant to do a hemp fleece blend or hemp jersey blend. i want something soft for her tush and trim as i can get but still super absorbent. I know seems like im asking a lot out of a diaper hu. maybe i am i just need to get the most bang for my buck there are just so many fabric options im not sure whats best
