Hi all,

I just wanted to get some opinions on diaper bags for cloth diapering. I'm expecting #3 in december, but my youngest is 5 so it's been a while since I've carried a diaper bag everywhere.

I really like the ju ju be prepared, but is it too big? I haven't seen it in person yet, I saw the be all at a store last week and I wasn't sure it would be big enough. I'm sure I could make it work, but if I'm buying something new, I don't want to have to make it work :)

the be prepared is marketed for multiples, but cloth diapers take up so much room! what do you all carry? I do tend to overpack, but I don't want to feel like I'm carrying a suitcase around all the time.

thanks!
anne

I got the Fleurville Rerun before the baby, it was WAY too small. So I switched to using a Large Timbuk2 classic messenger. it worked, but didn't have enough pockets and whatnot (not that I like to compartmentalize a lot of things, but knowing where the little stuff is is important to me). So someone on here tipped me off to Bumble Bags, specifically, I got the Natalie bag and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! I don't know all the Ju Ju bags, maybe you could compare the size of the Natalie to the dimensions on the website for the Be Prepared and see how it measures up? But I'm jealous that you thought of this before the baby came. DH also got a Daddy Gear diaper bag that's WAY too small for, well, anything! maybe he can use it later on when we don't have to carry quite as much....but I doubt it. I should probably just sell it on CL or Ebay!

I have a Land's End messenger diaper bag and like it. The nice thing about it is that it has pockets inside, but it also has a large open area where you can stuff several cloth diapers. Plus, you can see everything inside.

I LOVE my Bumblebag. I got it from Babysteals.com (watch-they usually list them once a month or more-they had them earlier this week). This is the one I got: http://thebumblecollection.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=BumbleBags&Category_Code=natalie but they don't have my color anymore. I LOVE that bag and it's PERFECT for CDing. So much room in the middle and lots of little compartments. The ONLY thing it's missing is a water bottle holder for mommy on the outside. We even took that bag on a trip and could get most of DS's stuff in it for our 3 day trip.
