Well since the week before Christmas it seems someone in my in my family has been sick!  It being me, Alexis or my Dad!

I been having "sinus" problems since God knows when- called the doctor on it and they said sounds like a virus thing and just take OTC stuff for decondegestion and tylenol if pain occurs (even had fluid out of my ears) for awhile.  Then I got better for a few days. Alexis got a snotty cold, then I thought I got one. Then we gave to my Dad. :(

My Dad has a history of Asthma and Chronic Bronchitis so a slight cold can turn into a disaster for him.  He ended up getting an infection and ended up in the hospital for treatment and was further told that he had Pulmonary Disease and he would not be able do what he loves to do anymore such as, yard word or doing his job as a real estate agent outside of his home (that much).  He was also sent home with oxygen when needed.  This hurts the family because this also leads to a big hard discision of perhaps selling their 2 acre two story ranch home which I grew up in.  This breaks my heart as much as it does their as I was hoping this house could be or at least remain in the generation somehow or someway but there is no way I can being single. :(

After we hear this news and Dad gets out of the hospital after full 6 days, I end up getting the stomach flu then Lexie.  So we can't even see him now.  We did go visit him though on the weekend of his birthday (Jan 8th)  yeah right Happy 70th B-day! My poor dad!  So I think we got the bug from the stupid hospital!  The worse part is today is in the high 60s and we can't go anywhere!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! UGH!  Remember I'm in Erie, PA where it normally Snows?!  Like it suppose too tomorrow and rest of the week! :(

Well, I think that is it for my update I hope that explains WHY I Have not been around. How about everyone else?

Man you have been through the mill. Happy New year to you and Lexi.
We have been having terrible rains and flooding...I'm sure you saw it on tv or in the web. We are hanging tight and loving the sunshine this week.

Hello! I'm back!

I just had knee surgery, and going to start OT/PT soon, so I'll be around. Kids are in school full time, and I'm doing some cross stitch.

I'm having major sinus problems too! I'm thinking its something to do with the pain meds (going to check with the doc on that one).

Updated my profile and will post new photos soon! Can't sit in this chair long due to swelling of the knee/leg. Sorry. Hope all is well with everyone!

Sunshine~~~

Big hugs Dori and lots of prayers. I trust all of you are feeling much better as I type this in late January.

Take care!

Sorry to hear it's been so rough your way.  Things here are getting better.  The nerve compression and associated damage from my labor is healing nicely.  Now only my foot has limited feeling.  I can't wait to not need my walker!  CJ is growing like a weed.. already about 26 inches long and doesn't turn 3 months till Saturday.
