I have a darn UTI.  I stupidly tried to treat it myself with zpack that I had.  It started on Friday.  Felt better a couple days and last night I was in tears with pain.  Today I finally called Dr.  They got me in right away.  Dr says it is really bad that it may have turned into a kidney infection.  I am on antibiotics and I have to go back tomorrow.  If there isn't improvement I was told I may need IV antibiotics. ARG...

Anyway, as of right now no improvement.  My back is killing me!  I have to pee but nothing comes out.  When it does it hurts so bad that it brings tears to my eyes.

To top that off, while I was there they wanted me to get my thyroid labs done.  They are horrible!!!  Way worse than a few months ago.

My free t3 is 20.5 and my thyroxine is 19.7  These results suck!  Might explain why everything about me sucks lately.  I can't sleep.  I have went from 149 to 125 pounds in 2 months.  The weight loss is awesome, but it is all muscle.  I am so weak I can hardly go up a few steps.  I have a constant headache.  I am so irritable that I cry or blow up all the time.  My HB is so fast I feel like Iam going to jump out of my skin.  My  vision is now being affected because of my thyroid.  My eye Dr. told me that I have the begining stages of thyroid eye disease.

OK, so between the Graves Disease and UTI and possible kidney infection, I feel horrible.

Sheryl, I'm so sorry you're tackling all of these things at once.  P&PTs that the meds start working on the UTI and you won't need the IV.

Oh Sheryl that really sucks!  I can't imagine how you are feeling.  I hope you are on the mend soon and you don't need IV meds.  The most important thing is your health so just do what ever you need to no matter if other things slip.  I know many women tend to take care of others before themselves but this is not the time for that.  Be well!!

Poor baby!

I'm hoping you start feeling better soon. IV antibiotics, though frustrating, is the quickest way to get the medication into you and have it start working. I'm hoping you feel better soon and they get the thyroid under control.

PP & T,
and of course, all the best wishes,
Gab

After too many failed natural cycles to mention, discover that previously clear tubes have become blocked after surgery to remove fibroids (however, no more fibroids). Decent FSH for 40 year old but FLE (funny looking, non-fertilizable eggs leading RE to push for DE).

preparing for 1st donor egg (international adoption to Kazahkstan on hold pending DE success)

DE cycle 1, BFP but M/C at 8 weeks

Gearing up for DE cycle #2
