Hi, I'm Carol (mom to Maren) and just saw this. Her sis has an intellectual disability, but not T21 :-). Still AWESOME however, and her site is fantastic. Thanks for sharing it!
Eva's sister does have DS, though she generally speaks of it as a "developmental disability" or "intellectual disability," in an attempt to raise awareness of all related disabilities and not just DS.
