I found this funny so I just had to share what happened the other day!
I work for my grandfather-in-law and get to take my daughter with me to work. I'm very lucky, but it's usually harder to focus on ec very well at work. Anyways, my grandmother-in-law offered to watch her while I worked the other day, so I packed extra underwear for Alizabeth, knowing how many I usually miss - and that with her going potty for me too.
Alizabeth had a great time, and really played hard with her cousin and grandma. She fell asleep on the way home, and later on that night I was cleaning out the diaper bag, and I noticed she didn't go through any underwear (besides the one wet pair that was in there from earlier that morning while I was watching her at work). I thought - wow - I wonder if she went potty for her really well? I mean - it was 6 hours!! We had talked about everything but how many times she went potty - I figured I'd know by counting the wet pairs, and I know she tries to offer the potty, and she'd be excited to tell me if she went for her (it's happened a few times, but usually only if I'm there), so why hadn't she told me how well they did?
I was chatting with grandpa the next day, and he said that grandma didn't want me to know that she'd missed taking her potty, so when she wet the one pair she washed them out and hung them up to dry, and let her wear some of the other underwear she had at her house!! These were not water-proof though, so I imagine it was more work!
Ha ha ha. So then I had to tell grandma, it's ok for her to wet in the ones I send, that's why I send them!!!
