Exclusively Pumping

Hi all!! I have been lurking on the board for about 3 weeks. I have been EPing (sort of) for about 5 weeks. Ryleigh is my 3rd baby and the only one to refuse to latch on. I stressed and stressed over it! We saw a lactation consultant and everything without any luck until recently. She will latch on maybe 1-2 times a day now! Yay! I go back to work on the 11th so there isn't much use in trying to take away her bottle and make her breastfeed. I have struggled with supply but we are making it. The past few days we have not supplemented any with formula!! I want to thank all of you for the great information posted. It has been a blessing!!

Hi Fallon -

It sounds like you will likely be able to get back to BF'ing exclusively since you are finally having some luck with it and that's great!  Until then, keep up pumping as you are to keep your supply up and to avoid using formula.

A few women here do pump and BF as well for various reasons so you aren't alone in that!

Congrats on your LO and I hope all works out for you soon and you and baby can find a comfortable balance that works for both of you! :o)
