Finally, just a mere 15 days after my due date, Owen Matthew decided it was time to put in an appearance. :)
Owen was born 12/18 at 1:18am. He weighed in at 8lbs,8oz.
He's nursing well, despite a latch issue (he doesn't like to open his mouth wide enough) - but we'll work through that.
Gillian, my other nursling, is having kind of a rough time adjusting to the change in nursing. She still really wants to nurse in her favorite positions, but they are just about impossible to do with a newborn in my arms as well. So, we're trying to come to a compromise about that - she's learning that she can still nurse when Owen is as long as she's willing to do it a bit differently.
