My experience with another board closure was that the board remained, but the link to it in the list of boards was removed, and you could no longer post to it. But if you still had the link, you were good to go.
Is that decision in any way negotiable? I know the board hasn't had much traffic lately, but it has served an important purpose over many years. Is there some minimum traffic you expect for a board to be viable, and if so, could this one conceivably be given some time to meet it?
Hello! Yes, you will be able to access the archives. The board will be made read-only and removed from the main message board listing for live boards. If you save the link, you can go back and read posts with no problem.
