Snuza Halo Clip-On Movement Monitors

This clip-on baby movement monitor looks neat, alot more user-friendly
than the "Angelcare" or "Babysense" flatbed movement monitors, but I'm worried about having an electromagnetic device (basically what amounts to a mini-cellphone) so close to the baby (and the baby's genital area!) for extended periods of the day.
Should I worry? Is it safe? Is a movement monitor even necessary?
