No you're not wrong to do that.  I did the same thing.  I told my parents, but asked them not to tell...but I've also told two other friends of mine (and also asked them not to tell) and told DHs family (and asked them not to tell).  It's our information to give to whom we choose.  We are giving them information and allowing them to share a part of our lives.  If they can't live up to that trust, then perhaps next time they won't receive the information at the same time or in the same way.

I don't know if that helps.  It's very hard working with people with borderline personality disorder...I can't imagine my mother having something like that.  I'm sure you've probably read a bunch of things or talked to others for support.  If not, I'd recommend "Stop Walking on Eggshells: Taking Your Life Back When Someone you Care About has Borderline Personality Disorder", or perhaps an alanon support group.  {{{Hugs}}}

Thanks very much for your response and for the book suggestion. I have not read this one yet and given the title, it sounds like it could be very beneficial.

Take care!

First of all, congratulations on your pregnancy! It's a beautiful thing (aside from morning sickness and bloating of course :) ).  I agree with everyone here, this is your pregnancy! Your mother and father should understand that you want to do things on your own time.  Try to sit them down and explain that to them.  Parents can be stubborn but Im sure they can also surprise you sometimes.  Explain that the stress they are adding to your life is not good for their grandbaby.  If that doesn't get them to ease up, I don't know what will! Try to relax, you have a little life on the way! Good luck and don't cry :)
