see....i have the belly, i'm about four months along now...my last appt was sept 21st and might not be able to get another one til november...boo. but i still am not feeling any pregnancy effects, other than getting a bigger belly. i am not too exhausted anymore (and i know that may start to go away as you get further along), and i feel no other effects tho....i am kind of worried that the move and the stress of trying to find a job have made me lose the baby without realizing it. i've had no bleeding or anything, but still....anyone else worry about this?

Hi, Loree

First, Congratulations on your pregnancy!  It's an exciting time in your life!

During the second trimester a lot of ladies experience a decline in symptoms.  Morning sickness usually disappears by this time and most ladies feel really great!  The second trimester was always my favorite time in pregnancy because I always had so much more energy.  Have no fear, you'll be tired again once you get well into your third trimester.  ;)

You mentioned that you moved.  When do you go to the doctor again?  I'm sure getting in for an appointment and being able to hear the heartbeat of your baby will help you feel much better.

Have you signed up for the Pregnancy Calendar on iVillage yet?  If you haven't, you may want to do it now.  The calendar is a great resource you can use to help understand what is happening to your body and your baby at every stage of pregnancy.

Best of luck to you and your little one.  Please keep us posted on how you are doing!

I would say take a deep breath and don't worry about it!  I am about 14 weeks along now and have had no pregnancy symptoms.  You would know if you lost the baby, either you would be cramping or spotting. Right now we are just at that point where nothing is going on. It is a little too early to feel movement but we have moved passed the morning sickness and exhaustion phase.

If you are really worried about it though just call your dr's office and express your concerns and see if they can squeeze you in for just a quick visit to make sure everything is okay (which I am sure it is!)

well, as i said above, i will not be able to get an appt til after nov 1st, mainly because i don't have insurance, and no money either! so it'll be a while before i know for sure, but you guys put my mind at ease. tho i never really had symptoms, other than exhaustion, i do remember reading that any symptoms will likely go away in the 2nd trimester, thanks for reminding me! i was a little worried there, i'm a worrier, so of course i added that to worry about on top of everything else.....ug.

anyways thanks!

I felt that way too when I was at 14wks. You see the belly, but it doesn't grow that fast and you can't feel the baby move. I'd had to miscarraiges previously so I was a bit of a nutcase until I could feel her move. On top of that I was between wearing normal clothes and maternity. None of my clothes fit properly at all. I kept telling hubby I don't feel pregant. He thought I was loony. He says but you can see it. That may be all he needs, but I needed more than that. :-)
