still need LOTS of prayers please. My mom had gamma knife surgery yesterday morning. All went very well, she felt fine afterward. They said she could go home, she refused and demanded to stay over night. Good call mom! Around 630pm, she was completely fine, at 645, she was having confusion and at 650, she was found on the bathroom floor (after strict instructions to NOT get up without assistance!) She was having stroke symptoms and was in for emergency brain surgery at 730pm. It all happened so fast, and it's so scary. They drained a ton of blood off and left drain tubes in. She's now in the ICU and being kept well sedated and on a ventilator. It's not that she can't breath on her own, but that the sedation makes breaking difficult. She's not out of the woods yet. The nursing staff has been outstanding and we are sure to tell them that often. We are pleased with the surgeons response in all this as well. Please keep the prayers coming.
