I'm just wondering if anyone knew of any legitimate work at home jobs?  I had thought of baby-sitting, but with the flu in a rampage around here I don't want to invite it home.  I'm such a nightowl that something I could do after they were asleep.

Skillswise:  I'm a sahm who used to be a teacher.

I would love to do something that would bring in $200 a month if possible.  I know a lot of the work at home things advertised are scams.  I had one friend who did crafts at home and it turned out to be $2/ hour.  NO way.

Anyone find anything?

I should say that I already deliver newspapers which I really like to do but sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago.  I help my kids with their job.  Right now i'm wishing I had paid attention at piano class and could teach kids at home.

Have you looked at tutoring online or at home (whether your home or the other person)? There's a constant need for certified elementary/secondary teachers for this. You can also tutor for tests such as the ACT or SAT if you want.

Oh, definitely!  I have some good resources I can share with you.  I will come back later on since a lot of my reference pages are on my other computer.  In the mean time, please feel free to pop on over to iVillage's Work at Home Moms board.  They have a lot of great tips for finding legitimate gigs, balancing family and work, etc.  They really are a terrific group, and I think you'll find a lot of good information there.  Here's the link:
