I was never tested with my first but he went downhill within hours of birth. I was so glad I didn't have him at home and I was at the hospital with the best NICU in the area. With my second, the pedi said that we would have a 48 hour stay. My DD ended up staying for 9 nine days and didn't even have GBS, but that's a long angry story. I would have stayed 48 hours GBS+ or not.
