Group B Strep

Hi all,
I was just wondering if anyone had looked at research on the efficacy/safety of "alternatives" to antibiotics that people are using for GBS. I say "alternatives" because for me, I would probably use them in addition to, not in place of antibiotics, should I test positive. I read a bit about the chlorhexidine rinse/douche- is that the same as Betadine? Anyone with thoughts on that?
