Our schools don't have a 9/11 curriculum per se. The middle school addresses it peripherally through social studies by discussing what kind of impact various current events can have on their nation's history. Once a week they discuss news stories from around the world and look at the far reaching effects of what can appear to be, on the surface, meaningless events. They've discussed a fair amount of what goes on in the mid-east and why it's occurring, and they've touched lightly on 9/11.
Our high school has a "homeland security" program where they discuss quite a range of topics, incl 9/11 and how it's shaped our country's future (everything from technology, to medicine, business, security, etc). The very fact that the school HAS a homeland security program is due to 9/11, so it features prominently in the class curriculum.
