Hello! I'm just kind of grazing on the boards today. Anyway, I was like that growing up. I'd lay there for hours. A trick my dad used to do with me (when he got sick of me running in there at midnight to ask him what Chinese people eat for breakfast or how long I was going to live) is to focus on each muscle one at a time. He'd tell me to go back to bed and start at my toes and go up to my scalp and back down again, flexing each muscle for 10 seconds, then relaxing it and on to the next.

Year later I realized they do the same thing in yoga classes.

Funny that this thread popped back to the top again.

Someone on another board just recommended some books today that might help.

One of them is called A Boy and A Bear -

Apparently, there is a series of books like this. I have not read them yet, but would be interested in taking a look.
