Those of you who celebrate... what are the kids dressing up in and any fun plans?

DD (12) is dressing up Goth which is humorous as it's so not like her. DS (8) is being Spock. The kids are going to their theatre program halloween party next weekend. The Friday before, DD is taking a "Thriller" Dance workshop with her Girl Scout troop (I so wish I could take the class lol.) Halloween, DS has a performance of "Oliver" and then we are trick-or-treating at grandparents nieghborhood. Then DD has friends spending the night and we are off to archery lessons in the morning. Busy but should be a lot of fun. It's one of my favorite holidays.... lots of fun, lots of community spirit without traditional family gathering complications (like cleaning the house, cooking large meals, making sure everyone gets along, ect.)

My kids are only 4 & 1, so we're not doing anything spectacular.  The oldest will be Peter Pan (bought on clearance last Nov) and the youngest will wear a cute "Boo" t-shirt.

Ray wants to be a headless horseman (Halloween is not Halloween to this kid if it is not a scary costume).

This costume I actually had to put together myself... which was not easy for me since I can't sew. But I did convince him to wear a pumpkin mask instead of trying to get it so he could see out the torso of a custom, so that was a plus.

His bowling league is having a party Halloween morning after their normal game. After that we are headed to our friends' house. DF is working late so we'll be T or T with them and spending the night at their place.

DS (11) is going trick or treating at the Udvar-Hazy Air & Space Museum. He will be a US mailbox - He finished the costume over the weekend and it looks great!
