Pumpkins don't last very long in the heat here, at least not carved. I usually buy them the day before Halloween for carving. I want to pick up some more to have around the house. I just ordered a huge one from our co-op that I am picking up this weekend.

Same here.  I am picking up 8 or 10 Sunday for the kids Halloween party and letting the big kids carve them while the little kids are having their fun.

I will get Miss V a pumpkin some time later next week, probably on Friday since we don't have school.

Nope, no pumpkins in my house yet.
They dont last long at all here in sunny Florida. Carved pumpkins only last about 2 days in this weather. 
Its in the mid 80's today! We'll probably get them next week, keep them in the frig until Halloween Eve then pull them out and cave them.
