Heart Defects

So, we got a bit of a surprise: a bfp! It certainly wasn't planned, though we had talked about it but wanted to wait until things were more stable with Lydia. But this is what happened so now we've got to go with it. :) I'm unfortunately quite sick as usual and started Diclectin yesterday (has helped a bit but makes me suuuuper tired on top of the normal 1st trimester tiredness).

Lydia's heart cath is on Monday morning at 7:45 (we have to leave here at 6 am *groan*). We're hoping and praying that they'll find something positive, not sure what that'd be, maybe that the hypertension is less than they feared and that she's just more inclined to chest infections naturally (her heart healthy aunt had broncitis all the time as a child). Wow, congratulations! I was early in pregnancy/morning sickness when Gabe had his second surgery, it was a challenge but I got through it! I hope the cath finds more positive news than you've been getting lately, you are due some good news on the heart front! Keep us posted!
