Hi everyone,
Its been quite some time since I've been here, after all its not like you have an abundance of extra time when you're busy chasing a 10 month old high needs infant around! I have reached a point of serious frustration when it comes to feeding DS. He has been exclusively breastfed since birth and shows no interest in giving that up anytime soon. My issue is with feeding him solids. I can barely get him to sit still in his highchair for 2 minutes, yet alone get him to eat any decent amount of food. There are rare occasions when he will eat really well, but that may be once a week. He will occasionally attack me if I'm sitting on the floor eating and beg to eat from my plate. My concern is that he is so active that I don't think breastmilk alone is enough to keep him sustained. He doesn't sleep well at night, and I'm thinking that if he would eat more solids that would help. Does anyone have any tricks that they used to get they're high needs LO to sit still for a few minutes to eat? TIA...
