This is a good idea. I wish more people replied. This board is so quiet and is so needed. I know I need some ideas to deal with my wonderful soon to be toddler. I am Tanya. My baby is Noelle. She is 10 months old. She is a high needs baby and always was. She likes swimming so I got her in swimming lessons to help her deal with having more kids around. She is getting a lot better with this but it is still better to have smaller groups. I also signed her up into baby gym to give her a safe place to wear off some of her energy. She is in to this clingy stage so I am having a hard time putting her down. The last time we left her at a babysitter she screamed the whole time we where gone. She Nurses all the time. She is trying to learn to walk and is putting so much effort into it that it is interfering with her sleep at night. She just doesn't stop moving even to sleep. She has been down to one nap a day since she was 4 months old. She is also going to be a big sister in May. I am getting so tired of everyone saying that I made her this way and she will never learn to do stuff without me. Now for the funny part of my day. When I had my DH watch Noelle so I could take a break he was going to help with the house at the same time and he couldn't figure out how to do this well watching Noelle when just earlier he got mad at me for not getting the house done well I was taking care of her.

Hi. I'm Kasey and my son is Ronan. He is 14 months today. He has been high needs since day 1 - colicky, lactose intolerant, couldn't be put down, pretty much the norm for what I have seen on this board. This is my first time here and I am REALLY grateful to have found this site. It is frustrating being around so many other moms whose babies are so much mellower and independent than mine. He is beautiful, smart, and fantastic, but he is a HANDFUL. It is nice to know that it is not something I am doing. Thanks!
