Hello ladies,

I am planning to have my second child at a birth center.  One of the birth centers in our area does have a birthing pool available while the other does not.  The second center will allow us to rent a pool and bring it.  Any suggestions on birth pool rental sites?  My other concern is that the birth center without the pool might not have a lot of experience using a birth pool.  The centers are about 20 minutes apart with the one with the pool the furtherst from our home.  Thanks for any feedback!

Hi Becky,

I'm renting a pool from my MW and it is a lot cheaper than if I was to rent it on my own. I believe we are getting the La Bassine Professional size for $75.

See if a MW in your area will rent it to you or maybe even check Craigslist if someone has one you can buy (and make sure it was cleaned thoroughly of course!)

GL!
