Wow, I had SOOOOOOO much fun yesterday.  I think I'll just go do it again today.  Yea, real fun.  Stood in line...outdoors...for 4 hours so the kids could get their H1N1 shots.  Really, I had MUCH better things to do...ack, losing 4 hrs out of my week is HUGE.

Today the kids have tennis, and this evening we're going on a Halloween walk in the forest.  Should be fun...they'll have the path lit with luminaries, and costumed people will be handing out goodies :D  At least it won't be raining.  I hope ;-)

You stood in line 4 hours and did not even get concert tickets? Oh for good health...very impresive.  Halloween fun sounds great, treats too, you kiddos will absolutely love it !

It is hump day....so tennis here, there, every where, also dance. I am really thinking this summer of signing my kids up for tennis or other things and then in the Fall begging them not to choose dance! I am so tired of being at dance so much. Well....my dh did pick up going on Sat. so I don't have too, now that I am there 3 days a week! So only the 2 days for me unless he is out of town. Yet...I will not be that mom that imposses my choice on their activity...if they want to be dancers I will grin and bear it the best I can. I am glad they both have the better teachers now and I feel very comfortable about that part of their dance education. I do love the one ballet teacher who absolutly is mesmorizing on stage when she is doing the job of ballerina not just teaching the little ones. She makes it more an Art than a Sport by far. I like the Art part, I do not like the nasty girl competitve aspects it can bring. So I try and concentrate on teaching the girls the Art part, such as the music and the beauty in it.

Well off I go to teach and parent another day.....thankful for that!

LOL, a lady behind me said the line reminded her of lines when she worked at Cedar Point, except at the end of this one wasn't something fun.

Sue...they should have the kids line up in front of their favorite rollercoaster ride, then have the Nurse give the shots just before getting on the ride, that way a negative memory is replaced with a positive one and more kids will get in line without a fuss!
