There, got my hair cut and my roots covered, now all is right with the world.  I think ;-)  Rainy day, and I'm going to attempt to stay home, except I have to go to the post office since that didn't get done Tuesday when we were standing in the 4 hr H1N1 shot line...and I have a choir rehearsal tonight.  Did I say something about staying home?  Bwahahahaha.

We've been running nonstop for the past several weeks. We just have a social schedule that is like the energizer bunny some days. Then the days that we are home, we are playing catch-up.  I'm not unhappy with the schedule we have, though. Gavin is certainly happier this year!

Tonight we are going to carve pumpkins! I love doing this, and so do the kids. Dh, too as far as that goes. It is a lot of fun for a family night, and it is great that it falls on Friday this year.

I started a dance class last night. It is 2 days a week at 9pm. *lol* It's definitely a mommy class (after the kids are in bed).  I had a lot of fun, but wow am I old and out of shape!

I hope everyone else had a good week, too.

We are having Fall fun and crafts here today, the kids made a cake that looks like a Pumpkin. We put up window decor and all that also went out to lunch. I need to go to the store for treats...or for tricks something. I am hopeful dh can carve pumpkins but we will see...he decided to have Pager for Halloween week and so ofcourse seems to have no time for us. He has had the darn pager on several weekends that have holidays this year...does someone at work have it out for him or does he volunteer for this nonsense? He even works Thanksgiving for Gods sake other people can work holidays too! There is no Team in corporate America just hate and the whos who game, fun stuff! Tomfoolery and work so much fun in the office place!  UGH. So not happy with all that. Guess if it does not get done I get to add it to my list tomorrow! :)  SURE....no wonder I have no time for what others call a 'Life," I have to pick up all the pieces others drop!   Maybe I am harmonal today....the witch of Halloween present!

Have a great Halloween.

Just wanted to say we did our jack o lanterns last night too!  DD5 designed hers as a kitty face.  It turned out so cute.  DD7 tried something new.  We copied a pattern for a mask out of an old Martha Steward magazine onto cardstock and made a cat mask for her pumpkin.  I love it!  Plus, I get to keep the pumpkin for a fall decoration after Halloween and then use it for pumpkin pie later!!  I am going to try to talk her into this every year!!  Have a great holiday everyone!
