Feels like a Sunday around here...mainly cuz I didn't have to get up and traipse off to work early this morning.  Yay for midnights...they agree with my sleeping-in-loving self much more ;-)

Had a great time yesterday singing the Durufle "Requiem".  I love these short duration, intense weeks of preparation for performance.

We ended up taking the kids to Chuck E Cheese after performance (me) and rehearsal (K1)...surprise for them, fun to see them having fun.  DH seems like he's in a better mood the past few days, so let's hope that continues.  I'm done walking on eggshells for a while, really!

Pretty much the mundane today...nowhere to go until tonight when I go to work.  I don't even have to cook dinner...I had made a pasta and eggplant casserole yesterday but since we went out, I didn't use it.  So I can cook it tonight.  Yay me :D

We had a load of fun over the weekend.  We carved pumpkind Friday/ Saturday.

Gavin had fun dressing up. We all enjoy  halloween.

Today I'll be packing up all the halloween decorations and rearranging the Autumn stuff.

Gavin will be working on his schoolwork while I pack stuff up. *lol* Maybe I should get him out of bed sometime soon.

Have a great Monday!

I love it when dinner is done....makes my day, one less thing to worry about that day. I always have lots of work on Monday to get everyone on task for the week....I find if I do my work well on Monday the whole week goes better for everyone. If I waffle and become lazy the whole week is off for all. SO...better get my work done. I need to be more organized on Monday so it is all running smoothly. Even with the kids very independent and self motivated with study...I still need to be the coach, encourage and be sure everyone is ready to work. I often feel more like a team coach that a teacher or even just a parent, it seems the role I play is of organizer, supporter and team member with learning porjects and keeping everyone able and ready for there study life, or any life stuff we are doing!

So better get to it. Welcome to November....always a busy month!
