Is this class run by a Tennis Pro, a person who plays often? Hum I would Question the teachers motives. I have never seen a tennis drill that requires throwing a ball....that would be baseball or basketball, wrong game! It is hard when a kid wants to learn more than a teacher wants to teach. Is the teacher having a difficult time with the group of kids? Or are all the kids their to play and not be clowns on the court? That makes a difference, control of the class and often that is more about the children than the teacher. Yet a good teacher can handle that in time. I would ask the other Moms and then approach the actual teacher first if they brush you off, then yeah the next step is the director, they should not want to loose customers or children who one day may win tennis tourneys, if they actually get educated in how to play. Right! I hate problems with other educators, angry they do not want to educate my mini customers and when I find a good one (such as our Piano teacher) I want to go out of my way to please them and keep them in my employ. Yet, the worst case scenario are kids in a class that do not want to be there so ruin the education that my child wants to get in the class....one big reason I am picky about teachers, classes and education while I am the director of my children's education. Sometimes a kid has a bad day or a teacher has a bad day, I can forgive that I have bad days....but repeat problems that never change, improve or get solved...really irritate me and yep...I would say something and try to improve the situation for all that want an education.
We had a great day reading music and it was fun. It seems the trick is doing it sitting at the Piano and listening to more inspiring instrumentals so we want to learn more! My Piano teacher will be amazed....we did lots of homework, and maybe we will do more before we see her again!
Have a great day....so much to do, you are right busy seems to never end for home educators!
