Hi,

I just wanted to tell you that I am planning for a VBA2C, my first two were c-sections and I am finishing up the course on hypnobirthing (the Mongan method).  I can say that although I have not given birth yet, my attitude and my feelings towards this birth are very different from  my last two.  I read the book first and then my husband and I decided to take the class and its been amazing.  Its not really that someone else hypnotizes you, its really about learning how to relax your body and mind to the point that your body just does what its supposed to do with out the fear-tension-pain cycle.  Like I said, I have not delivered yet, I am 39 wks pregnant and am ecstatic about going into labor and giving birth to this baby.  By far this third trimester has been the best one out of all my pregnancies and I know its because I have had a change of mind of what birth and pregnancy is supposed to be like.  Physically and mentally I feel and am prepared for this birth and have no fears about the labor/delivery part at all!  Good luck and I highly recommend you take the class and read the book - Hypnobirthing the Mongan Method.
