I gave birth to a baby girl, at home, on 9/4 she was 7 and a half pounds and 21 1/4 inches long. We named her Angela Marie. But the next morning she inexplicably stopped breathing, she is no long with us.  This has been the hardest thing I have ever been though and the huge whole in my chest will never fill. I can't explain how bad it hurts. I am sure God has a good reason for taking my perfect baby back but it will never be good enough for me. I am sure the pain will lessen with time but right now it is really raw.  I wouldn't give the one night I had with her for the world.

(((Nicole))), I am so very sorry for your recent loss.  What a roller coaster you have been on.  You are going through so much right now, and will continue to for awhile.  Please know that this is a board who gets it and is a good place to get things off your chest.

I am sure I am not alone when I say we would all love to see pictures of Angela.  So, feel free to share if and when you are ready too.

Also, most of the moms here had to go through the awful wait associated with "cause of death".  Feel free to reach out and ask for guidence.  Those days are hard, especially not knowing what happened to cause your little one to leave you.

Hang in there Nicole.  You are in the first stages of a long journey.  My best advice is to feel what you feel no matter what.  Stuffing your feelings will make things harder in the long run.  If you are angry, then be angry...if you are sad, then feel sad...and if you have a moment that makes you smile, then smile.  This grief is your own.  There is no right or wrong way.

For what is is worth, I am sad you are here, but I am glad you found the board.  Hang in there.

Oh my. I am so sorry about Angela. I am sorry that you have to be here. Our infant son Bregan was also born home, but he passed away when he was 4 days old in the NICU.  I can't tell you how much my heart aches for you. Please feel free to email me through my profile if you need anything.
