Well, we've really been trying this month to get pregnant. We tried to shoot for every other night, but it ended up being every third night. I felt crampy yesterday, and was supposed to start prometrium again last night until the 28th. I took it. Now, with prometrium you're not supposed to take it until after ovulation right? I have no clue if I even ovulated. My husband won't let me buy the OPK's because they cost too much. I'm on day 22 of my cycle today, do you think I'm safe? And can prometrium make you bleed? I'm crampy again today and now I'm spotting. Last cycle when I took it I didn't start or even spot until one day after I stopped taking it. And, when can I take a pregnancy test? When is it too early? It would be the cheap Walmart brand kind.

Hi! I'm sorry you're having trouble. I was on prometrium for a few cycles and would start spotting around 8 or 9dpo (but not every cycle). I asked my RE about it and he said it was not out of the ordinary.

Do you temp? That will at least tell you if/when you O'd. You can get a cheap bbt thermometer at Walmart, Target or any place that has a pharmacy section. If you're not going to do the OPK, I would at least give temping a try. At the very least you'll know when and if you O'd.
