Amber,

Where are you at in the process... we are both doing a donor egg cycle and curious as to what they will have you do compared to mine.     I am on lupron now.  I end BC tomorrow.   THen start estrace pills twice a day once i start my period.   Retrival 26th week.     They have our donor on gonalx and menupor.    So anxious...

My story: Trying for 3 years, One miscarraige, clomid 4 months, 2 IUI , one IVF that was cancelled last minute switched to IUI right before Retirval date. IVF#2 was BFN    (Endometrious and poor sperm)

Hi all!

How's everyone doing?

I'm on day 6 of stimms and the cramps hit me like a ton of bricks today.  Can't wait for my appt tomorrow to see how my follies are doing...I'm hoping that there are tons of plump follies.

I read on the Sept group that someone over stimmed on Lupron.  She did it for 14 days during her first IVF...she just did her second one...I did the same thing...ugh...now I'm all worried about it.  I really hope everything is going well in there...I was surprised that they delayed monitoring me for one day.  I guess we'll see...

Has anyone put anything on hold because of this process?  It seems like my life has changed so much because I'm always in limbo...there is a series of races that take place in the Fall, and I wanted to do them, but couldn't register as I don't really know when things are happening...it can get frustrating, especially if the results aren't the desired ones.

I'm really hoping our group is like the Sept group where they got mostly BFPs...

YAY CHRISTIE!!!!!  I'm sooooo jealous!  How exciting!!!!!!!!!

Do they do the procedure at your RE's office or at a hospital?

Are you taking valium?

OMG, that is awesome.  I'll be praying for tons of eggies and a great fert report.

Hey Maria,

Lupron is not what causes you to be overstimulated- lupron suppresses your system.  It's the gonal-f, menapur, follistim, etc. that is what stimulates your ovaries- that's what the Doc will dial down if you look like you might hyperstimulate.  I'm sure you'll be fine.  I hope you have some nice, quality follies in there, and remeber, it's nice to have a good amount, but more is not always better- it's QUALITY OVER QUANTITY, BABY!  GL!
