Hello. Congrats on your ET!! Glad everything went well.
Everyone seems to have a different theory about this. One school of thought is to take of two full days. So you could actually go back to work after 12 pm on Tuesday. This is what I tend to do. The reasons is because it allows your embryos a chance to get situated in your uterus in the most relaxing environment possible. This tends to be important for me since I have a high stress job, even though its an office job, its a very fast paced environment and I don't think it would be good for a growing embryo to have to face that. I don't even know how I survive it sometimes (lol)
Another theory is that you don't really need to take any time off. This is a natural process and women concieve without even knowing it most of the time, in their normal day to day routine. Some studies even show that a certain level of activity could provide a better environment for a growing embryo. My only concern about this theory is that these studies are conducted with 'normal' women, not someone going through ivf treatments.
I hope this helps in some way... good luck!! Rossana
