The Sesame Street 40th anniversary is on Nov. 10th. Where has the time gone? (And how old does that make me - I have the 10th anniversary RECORD album!)

Did you watch Sesame Street as a kid? What were your favorite characters, moments or memories? How do they compare to your kids faves?

When I was a kid we didn't have Elmo or many of the characters there are now. It was mostly Big Bird, Snuffy, Oscar, the Count, Bert & Ernie..who else? Oh, all of the real people too. I'm always surprised to see how many of them are still on it. Or are those old clips they show?

November is National Adoption Month!

Back when I watched - the grown ups didn't know about Snuffy. They all thought Snuffy was just an imaginary friend. I know some of the grown ups that were on when I watched are still there - Maria and her husband (can't remember his name), Gordon and his wife (again, can't remember her name).

Back in the day - there was no Baby Bear, Rosita, Praire Dawn. I loved Grover and Oscar - and of course, Cookie Monster.
