First off...thankyou all so so much for all your prayers for Liam,they worked!!! He went in at 9:30,I asked to stay in the room with him during the putting in the IV and until he fell asleep.It took all of 10 minutes and he was practically snoring ;) DH and I went to the waiting room and 45 minutes later the nurse came out and said he was done! Went to the recovery room and they brought him in and sat him in my lap,he was still very groggy and out of it. He did have a pretty rough time coming out of the anesthesia,it was heartwrenching to have my big 7yr old curled up in my lap holding on to my arm sobbing and almost hyperventilating. I am glad I'm not any bigger,preggo wise, than I am now cause it would have been hard to have him in my lap! lol Oh and glad I'm not feeling sick cause man was his breath horrible! ;)
Good news though is that they only had to pull his 2 front teeth,made a small incision in the gums and were able to pull the bad tooth from there.No damage to the adult teeth,nerves,and no cutting into the roof of his mouth! He has one small stitch that will desolve in a few days. No major pain as of now,I gave him some pain meds before the numbness wore off just in case then we'll see how he does tonight.
I am so releived it's over and that he came through so well,thanks again for all the P&PT's you gals are the best! :)
